This campaign seeks to solve two problems at once:


The social problem: A woman fleeing an abusive living situation usually has to do so fast, in the brief window of time an abuser is gone. Her makeup kit usually doesn't make it out the door with her, and new financial realities after escape can make it hard to replace it.


The brand problem: Casual makeup-wearers are reluctant to buy expensive cosmetics from companies like Benefit because most products only come in huge bottles, and they end up throwing half of them out when they expire.


The Solution: Create a system where makeup customers can "share" the other half of their Benefit purchases with women rebuilding their lives after domestic violence.
